UA Local Union No. 188 was chartered on November 8th, 1899. We represent nearly 600 union-trained Plumbers, Pipefitters, HVACR Service Technicians and Welders. We are affiliated with The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada (UA).
Our members work throughout our 15 County jurisdiction in the State of Georgia. You can find us working on projects of all sizes, from residential homes to hospitals and major industrial projects. UA Local 188 is there to get the job done correctly!
We represent our members by providing cutting edge training and some of the best benefits in the industry. Our highly trained members work for our signatory contractors. Our highly skilled workforce allows our Signatory Contractors to handle any job with the highest quality results.
Local Union No. 188 has been around for 120+ years and we look forward to the next 120 with our members and Signatory Contractors.
